Custom Home Process
1) Inquiry & Initial Call
Reach out with your goals, timeline, and lot details (or tell us if you’re still searching). We’ll schedule an intro call to make sure we’re a good fit.
2) Discovery Meeting
We meet to walk through your vision—must-haves, style, budget range, and any site considerations—so we can align on scope before design begins.
3) Design + Architecture
You’ll meet with our architect to develop your plan. This includes:
- initial concept + floor plan
- revisions (“back and forth”) to refine layout and details
- final drawings with complete dimensions and specifications
4) Cost-Plus Estimate & Proposal
Once plans are developed, we prepare a cost-plus quote based on the architect’s drawings and your finish selections. You’ll receive a clear estimate and construction plan.
5) Financing & Pre-Construction
You secure financing (if needed), and we finalize key selections, allowances, schedule, and next steps so everything is ready to move into permitting.
6) Permitting
We submit drawings for permits and coordinate with local requirements until approvals are in place.
7) Construction Begins
Once permits are approved, we break ground and start building—keeping you updated throughout the process.
8) Build Timeline
Most custom homes take approximately 5–9 months to complete once construction begins, depending on size, complexity, selections, and weather.
9) Final Walkthrough & Move-In
We complete a final walkthrough, address any punch-list items, and hand over your new home.
